Doors

Hiyaz Folks....
My son Bobby has the '76 Chev p/u. One of his friends has a wrecked 83 or 84 Chev p/u. Will the doors off the 80's truck fit on the 76?... Also, he said these doors have power windows. Would that be a 'pain' to hookup?

As always.......any and all info is appreciated!!!

doors

According to my catalogs, 73-76 fit each other and 77-87 fit each other. This is according to chevyduty.com

The doors will be a direct fit, but you will have to use the newer door panels since the interior of the door are different. As far as getting the power options to work, you are on your own there since I have not done that...yet.

Hey, Billy, sounds like you've got some work ahead of you.
Let me know if you ever need a hand. I have not done any body part swaps, but I know how to turn a wrench

BTW, I think I saw your son in the Ranger at the stop light the other day.

I doubt that the windows would be very difficult to setup electrically speaking, the hard part would be aligning stuff and getting it on the window itself. Getting power to it shouldn't be too bad...
