6 lug wheels question/needing pics!!!
I know that there are several post on her reference to 6 lug wheels. My question is though, I am running ECE 4.5/6 drop with their 6 lug disk setup. Does any one know if a set of stock 1970 steel wheels will fit. If so could any one post some pics? I am building a driver and don't wont to spend a ton of money on a new set of wheels. I have a set of steel wagon spokes but they are not very appealing to me! Thanks Guys and Gals!

Re: 6 lug wheels question/needing pics!!!
I have a 6 lug conversion on mine. Using stock 15x6 on front and 8's on the rear. I have heard that there are 2 different styles of stock steel wheels. One that fits with disc and one that doesn't. Mine were the right ones luckily.

The pre-'71 wheels won't work with the disc brakes.
You need the '73-87 stock steel wheels that were originally intended for the 1/2-ton 4x4 trucks with hubcaps.

This should be the difference in the wheels

Re: 6 lug wheels question/needing pics!!!
If you are asking about 15" 6 lug wheels, they must be 71 or later in order to clear the calipers. So basically this means wheels from 71-87 4WD trucks.
