New lights, philps screw driver, wire cutters, butt connectors, silicone & about an hour of free time!

It's a pretty straight forward job!

Does sound bad, Did the new lights totally cover the old holes is more what I was wondering? I'm assuming your truck had the fireman hat cab lights prior to those? I will be stealing your fender light idea Very nice truck and badass boat BTW

if the 19.5 fell thru you just as well go with 22's, they look good on there.

Re: My 84 CC Dually mod thread - there will be plenty of pics

Hmmm...I've got a set of 88-98 style OEM cab lights I bought for a 94 but never got around to before selling the truck. Never occurred to me to try to stick them on the 82. Might have to think about that.

Could you get more pics from the underside of the bed of the fuel fuller running to the tank? I'm trying to figure out how to do mine with a steep enough grade.

I just got done reading this entire thread and I gotta say BRILLIANT JOB! the truck is beautiful...im slowly fallin in love with these square duallys especially when they're lowered...if I ever sell my 74 I think ill get one of these...not that I need one cuz I don't tow or haul anything...they're just mad cool...ill probably get one that's already slammed.

Love your truck, man. Badass, in an understated sort of way. And I love the stance with the 16" wheels. Am I showing my age?

Funny thing, I live 10 minutes from Winni and never go there. A waste really. Maybe I need a badass boat to give me a reason to go, hmmmm.

Do the park lights you put behind the phantom grill work with the blinkers? Do you have a link to them?

That truck is f'ing tough man, perfect stance! I'd stay with the stock wheels/tires and simulators...they look "right" on these trucks! Still have the running boards?

It's a shame that the big lake has a 45 mph now.

I just picked this up & having it transported south for my lake:

Now need a dually as tight as yours.

Re: My 84 CC Dually mod thread - there will be plenty of pics

bringing this one back from the past. I am doing a burb tank in my 85 c30. someone else asked and i didnt see an answer.

OP, what did you do for the vent in the tank? The one that normally runs back into the filler neck. My tank does not have a nipple for the hose that runs from the filler neck. Whats the solution here?

Idk if the OP is still active or not but man, that was a killer thread to read through 11 years later.
