I know that 60-66 are the same. GMC had factory 4 inch blocks in the rear.The front hangers are the same on 60-68.If your 68 does not have a factory block in the rear I would say that they are not the same IMO.

Erl,
I'm pretty sure they're different. I just checked between a 67 K-1500 and two 68 C-1500s. The 2wd hangers locate the springs out farther away from the frame than the 4x4 does. The parts manual shows one number for C-1500 (3/8" rivet), one for C-2500 (7/16" rivet) and another for K-1500/2500, 67 and 68 are the same. I'm assuming the only difference between the 2wd hangers is the size of the rivet hole. Bob
