shock recomendations for Yukon/Suburban?
Hey all, my 2000 Yukon seems to be needing some shocks soon. I want some that ride nice and smooth. The wife drives it most of the time, but we also pull the camper with it sometimes.... Anyway, what have you guys used and really like????

Re: shock recomendations for Yukon/Suburban?
I just put Bilsteins on my 2006 2WD Silverado. The stock shocks were terrible right from the start. The front end bobbed all over the place.
Now it rides better and handles better. Dramatic difference.

Re: shock recomendations for Yukon/Suburban?
I have always used Monroes and have always been happy with them. Monroe Radialmatic or Gasmatic or Sensatracs have all done me well. 100,000 plus miles on some and never a leak.

Re: shock recomendations for Yukon/Suburban?
This is good to hear neighbor! I'm actually thinking of Monroe sensatracs all around. On the rear I want the coil-over extra load hauling ability, and these have that. I do like Bilsteins, but not sure of the long term future of this Yukon is with us. We will be getting another Honda maybe late next year. Thanks for the recomendations
