rear fuel tank

I know this has been brought up, but anyone have advice on placing tank under the bed. I cant remember but one of the guys on here builds the tanks anybody remember who. Thanks oldno7

There are several places that do, and if you watch for them you can catch a group buy on one at different times of the year.
Another is Boyd's Welding...thats who built mine.

Mine was installed by the previous owner so I don't know details. But it is out of a mid 80's Blazer, 31 gallon, fits in the space where the spare tire was under the rear of the bed. Filler hose fits between the bed and frame and I have a hole cut in the side of the bed for the neck and cap. I plan on welding in a round flush fuel door I got from a 97 pickup at a salvage yard.

mine is out of an 84 Caddy, its a big tank but I managed to make it work.

I have a flip license plate for the filler.
