(WTB) Short Stepside Fender With Spare Tire Well

I'm looking for a left rear fender with a spare tire wheel well for my '62 short bed stepside.

I think all 55-66 will work, but I've seen some with a clearance hole for the wheel mounting bracket, and some (earlier models?) don't have it.

I would really prefer a good solid fender with no rust-through or significant dents (isn't that what we all really want??).

The web-find picture below is a '62 with the fender I'm looking for.

Thanks for taking a look!

I saw that one.
Lots of bids.
Expensive, and getting more so (plus shipping).
...and a dent to boot!

It's gonna be tuff almost impossible to find a perfect one. I also have one I took off a 59, but also has a dent.

Re: (WTB) Short Stepside Fender With Spare Tire Well

I'm not sure who would expect to find a perfect one after all this time.

Even the NOS ones are probably just 'seconds', like the one on eBay. It still has about 5 days to go and is approaching 200, plus about 100 for shipping. I would bet it sells for 300+. That's about 400 total for a dented fender. Add body work, paint, etc, and that fender will cost about 550+.

That's why I would really prefer a good solid fender with no rust-through or significant dents.

I saw one in decent shape go for 150. Even though the CL posting was 2 weeks old, I arrived one day too late. ugh.
