Well .... I'll tell ya:
That tank was actually a damaged diesel fuel tank from a PENSKE truck that was being tossed in the metal dumpster. I repaired the holes ... installed the pro werks filler neck & bed mounts. I also addeed a center fuel p/u -ala -8 AN fitting. So ... that was why I ended up with that tank shape. Plus it was polishable aluminum!! COST .... free + the time & effort with the roller & welder.
