Rear Bumper Idea for my 68
I have 2 straight front bumpers off a 68 Camaro. I think I am going to get them cut up and welded for a custom rear bumper similar to a Vette.

Re: Rear Bumper Idea for my 68
I don't see why not. I'm not sure how well it work with the lines if you have a standard front bumper, but that'd be my only concern.

Re: Rear Bumper Idea for my 68
So you are going to have a rear rollpan with these coming off of it? What are your exhaust plans? Looks pretty slick to me.

Re: Rear Bumper Idea for my 68
There was a super clean Black truck at GoodGuys here last year. He had front and rear vette bumpers on it and it looks sweet!

I like it!
One of the truck mags ran a drawing series long ago on "what if" and they did a "camaro" version of a 67 truck. Looked pretty sick. They did something similar with the bumpers front and rear.

Re: Rear Bumper Idea for my 68
Looks sweet, I have been designing a rear bumper for my 69 but the cost of chrome is sooo expensive that it is almost not worth it on my budget. Are you going to chrome it after welding?

Re: Rear Bumper Idea for my 68
I know a few welder guys I am going to pitch the idea to. I will have to get a roll pan and it will have to be cut for custom bracket mounts.
