In need of a drivers side door latch

The latch works great but for some reason it wont lock. Everything appears to function but the the tooth that prevents the door being open when locked is not locking.

Also the threaded rod that the door lock knob screws on is missing.
(see pic red arrow) Where to get one?

LMC wants $100 which nuts ... and I don't know I need the whole new latch.

Check the parts board. Someone will have a decent door latch and the rod for the door lock. Reply to someone's thread parting out trucks. Confident someone can hook you up with that easily for a reasonable price. Good Luck.
