Question about 3/4 ton lug nuts

Are lug nuts from a 3/4 ton larger than a 1/2?

I recently put chrome lug nuts on my 1/2 ton and they take a 3/4 socket. Stock I think is 5/8"? Was wondering if an original 3/4 lug wrench would work as I don't want to carry one of those big 4 way wrenches if I don't have to.

Thanks.

Stock lug nuts on my '72 K20 take a 7/8" socket.

Re: Question about 3/4 ton lug nuts

The studs on a 3/4t are 9/16" and they take a larger wrench than a 1/2t...7/8".
