Re: What did you get done 12/26/2010 end of year edition

Cleaned and painted more engine parts for my 87 V2500 project. I blasted and buffed the original aluminum TB manifold and the clear coated it. I did the same for the air pump. Came out pretty good.

She's more than a good woman. I'd say the right woman!

Spent the holidays with my wonderful wife, kids and family...also found some free time to work on my next project. Here are a couple teaser pics. I have pretty much every vehicle type covered, in both 2 and 4 wheel drive. More to come soon.

Spent the holidays with my wife's family up in Easton, Pa. I did manage to get some truck time in while I was up there and picked up (2) clutch / brake pedal assmeblies for $ 60 bucks before it started to snow. All and all a good time

put in new alternator, water pump, new thermostat, new starter, and had transmission rebuilt. then fried the ignition system with a ground fault so now truck starts with the assist of a bump switch.. need to replace drivers side door after a accident due to denting from door killer mirrors.

Re: What did you get done 12/26/2010 end of year edition

Got back from a ski trip on Thursday. Friday I started cleaning up the garage to work on my 65. Tore down the motor out of my son's 82 to see what was wrong with it. It is a 305, we are not going to use it. I has a broken timing set and a broken flexplate. There was a lot of thick black sludge in the pan. I it stripped of the parts we are keeping and the rest is going to scrap on Monday.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
