6.5 diesel need smoke
need to know how to make a 1994 6.5 smoke like a train u guys know black just like coal. its for a friend i know on a dodge there is a star nut u can turn

Why would he want to do that? I don't see the point in deliberately polluting the atmosphere. It's possible to bump up the fuel injection a bit which makes a little more power but most of it goes to waste in the form of the black smoke (soot, ie. unburned fuel).

yea i know its prolly not the best thing in the world to do but he likes it also turning up his fuel pump would cost way to much

Turning up the high pressure injection pump is how it's done. There are web pages that have the required information how it's done (i think The Dieselpage is one), but i wouldn't try it without prior experience. I worked for a company that rebuilds injection pumps and injectors and the only way we did any mods to injection pumps was running them on a test bench so we could measure the exact amount of injected fuel per each cycle.
