New to Me 72 K5
Sold my 84 Shortie and picked up a K5! I have been looking for one for a while, most are rusted bad on the East Coast where I live. It is in great shape. Looks like someone installed a 400 in it.

Re: New to Me 72 K5
That's a cool way to achieve a two-tone paint job on a blazer. Usually you see the color break through the middle. What you have there almost looks like something the factory would have done. NICE!

Re: New to Me 72 K5
I took some more pics, it is about 35 degrees outside and blowing. More pics once I can get it washed. The pic of the 84 is my Shortie that I sold. A good friend of mine;s nephew came by and had to have it, so I sold it. I have been looking for a 72 K5 for awhile. I think I hit the jackpot!

Re: New to Me 72 K5
Just got back from my buddys Service Shop, I put the K5 up on the lift and it has a 400 on it! It has the 3 freeze plugs, I will check the front pad numbers to see what year it is. Overall in good shape for its age and the east coast.

Re: New to Me 72 K5
Thinking of selling the winch, really have no need for it, plus it adds alot of weight to the front. It is a nice unit, has a remote in the console, I tried to see if it runs, but feels like the motor might be stuck. I really like the look of a chrome bumper on it. Do not know what it is worth either? Any ideas?
