Anyone in Penn Valley Ca?

I am buying a part off ebay for my 66 c10. It is kind of big, around 3 tall, 5 ft wide and a few inches thick, shouldn't be too heavy. The seller won't ship, I am in Utah and need to get it to a shipping company. Any ideas that wont cost a fortune?

Thanks,

Chris

Talk to a car transport company, they are always cheaper when the have a light load.
or someone driving up there will sometimes post on craiglist under services.

A contact there would be nice, that's where a previous owner of my truck was registered. I'd like to contact him.

Re: Anyone in Penn Valley Ca?

I'm not sure where it is at yet, only know its in Penn Valley, CA. I am buying it off ebay and the auction ends tomorrow. I messaged the guy and he said it is too big to ship UPS. Its only 40 bucks so I think I am going to buy it and if I can't get it home then I will just take the loss.

I will post the info once I get it to see if anyone can help.

Thanks for responses and help.

Penn Valley is 6 miles west of Grass Valley, off of highway 20, I`m just hoping your not tied up with the same seller that one our people here delt with, if you haven`t sent your money, don`t.....can`t believe there would be two sellers in the same hole in the wall,

Re: Anyone in Penn Valley Ca?

What happened with the other guy? This guy has a high rating on ebay with thousands of sales, he just said that the package is too big too ship UPS.

I need to get it from Penn Valley to somewhere where it can get packaged and shipped for not alot of money. I think if it was in a box it would be able to be fedex'ed.

Re: Anyone in Penn Valley Ca?

62 bowtie tried to buy a big window conversion from him, we are local to this place, within driving distance say 50 miles, 62 settled on a price and told him to give him a time as to when to pick up, the seller never would commit, this went on for months....62 just finally gave up.. all I`m saying is that something was fishey with the whole deal....just beware of this guy.

Re: Anyone in Penn Valley Ca?

Well I decided not to purchase the big window panel from the guy which sucks cause it was only 40 bucks but he says in the auction he won't ship so I was just trying to fugure out my own way to get it shipped without his help.

If other members that live near him and couldn't get him to arrange pick up then I am pretty sure I wouldn't be able to arrange it 600 miles away.

Thanks for your help, I'm glad that the members on here are so helpful and try to save me a headache from a possible bad seller, thats awesome!

BarnFind you have a PM.
