inline fuse question

Hi, I'm new to this site, but I'm putting together a 70 chevy fleetside and have been dealing with wiring problems. However, everything seems to be working now so that leads me to my question: I replaced the two inline fuses under the hood, there was one on each side, and I was wondering what fuse is supposed to be there? I currently have tens in both sides with no problems but am unsure of what is really supposed to be there. Thanks for your input!
