72 Short wide brakes

On my 72 short wide, I went disc brakes all around...did the poor mans way cause buying a complete kit from CPP as much as i wanted to, was way over my budget! So I used Cadillac and Trans Am parts and did the conversion.
I installed a 7" universal brake booster straight to the firewall with no brackets and used a 70/80s model corvette master cylinder...Used a disc/disc proportioning valve from CPP...The problem I'm having is i can bleed the brakes all day, but the pedal will still go straight to the floor. The brakes hold, but i don't think my pedal is suppose to go to the floor.
Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.
