LMC and Classic Chevy Truck Parts have after market shoulder belts for $90 a pop.

I'm sure there are others in the same price area but those are the only two places I've really looked.

Re: Cheepest 3pt shoulder belts for chevy c20? where are they?

Come on guys be nice, seriously dont need to insult people on here. Hey darkone theres threads on here for 3point seat belts and where to get them, im pretty sure all 67-72 chevy trucks all use the same type of seat belts(meaning not seperate for c10 c20 or c30s) and i do know you can get decent ones for a lot less than that. I found one thread with a lot of good info and web sites where to buy them just scroll through the thread.
Hope this helps!

You could always get a set from a U-pull-it from an S-10 or full-soze truck, but not the best idea as you have no idea the history of those belts. If they have been in an accident they could be weak.

What year? Is there ways to tell if something happened to the belts? Would they just be a direct bolt in?

Re: Cheepest 3pt shoulder belts for chevy c20? where are they?

They are pretty much a direct bolt in. I did mine using the seats and belts from a 96 full size. Since there are so many in the parts yrad now you can find them really cheap and not have to worry so much about prior accidents. Of course if you find one that has been in a head one collision with a tree or other vehicle just walk away and keep looking. When you find the one you want then get the bolst and all the other goodies that go along with them. You will need new bolts for the upper pivot location and you will probably have to drill a hole in the floor to mount the driver and passenger base to. I used a very large and thick washer on the bottom side of the cab to give it some strenght in case an accident was to happen. If you look at what it is bolted to the floor with now you will understand why I went with that set up. I would say that the set up I have is probably just as strong as the factory set up. Of course you could go all out and buy tose expensive units and use the foactory mounting points as well. It just a matter of how much moola you want to spend.

So what years can i use? Did you get the middle seat belt to? Do you have pictures of installing them or just them in? I dont have any seat belts in it right now, ive heard about supporting the seat belts when you install them and can understand why.

Re: Cheepest 3pt shoulder belts for chevy c20? where are they?

I used a set from a 96 standard cad 2 wheel drive. I believe they are the same on full size trucks from 89 to 98. There may be a little difference in them but not much. I used the complete set drivers side, pass. side and the middle. The middle will bolt directly in with no modification. I dont hav any pics at the moment but with I get the carpet installed and new dash pad in I will be taking pictures and posting them.
