Will it work?
Ive had this question floating around for awhile. I have a parts 63 C10 4 wheel drive longbed sitting in my barn, and a 2 wheel drive 66 C10 shortbed stepside that I am wanting to redo. But is it possible to switch everything from underneath the 4 wheel drive over to my 2 wheel drive? Or am I crazy?! Someone please help me answer this question! haha

Re: Will it work?
all of the 4 wheel drive parts will be older though (drum brakes, old transfer case etc...)
you would be better off to find a newer 4WD donor... 72 and newer

Re: Will it work?
I personaly like the LB's myself but if it were mine to swap, I'd probably start looking at shortening that LB frame to used the SB bed. Might be a little involved but way less work than swapping the 4wd stuff over. IMO

Re: Will it work?
If i can find a 63 short bed id just swap it over. Theres no one around here that is trust worthy enough to cut the frame for me. So cutting it is out of the question.
