"You tawkin' ta me?" Thanks, bro'. There's a guy about 10 blocks from me who's built National champion dragsters ... I had him set up my steering components (from the steering wheel to the steering box on the Mustang II IFS) with Borgeson components and he lowered the rear end for me with 3" spacer blocks. The truck had an EXTREME rake on it when I got it ... now it has a MILD rake. I was getting a shimmy because I couldn't get enough caster on my front-end alignment (it was like -0.3*!) ... his "easy" solution (since the rear-end was so high) was to lower the back. Now my caster is in the +-zone and the shimmy is gone ... but I still want to get some more caster. PS - If I ever buy another truck, it's gonna be a COE! |
