cab corners from LMC
i just bought some cab corners from LMC for my 1970 gmc. i am repainting it and i thought i would fix some slight imperfections. my new cab corners from LMC dont look like they are going to fit right. i was planning on using only what i needed from the panel, but the bottom corner that butts up against the rocker panel was cut off from the factory. i need some tips on what i should do

I can't help with your problem. I have never dealt with LMC, but when I get ready to buy panels I'm going thru vendors on this board, just because of the reviews everybody gives them!
What I really wanted to say is welcome to the best board for these trucks in the world! BTW GMC's rock!

The vendors usually buy their parts from the same source, so you will be getting the same cab corner or rocker panel no matter who you buy it from.

Be sure to check the curvature of the corner as compared to the door. Most cab corners have too sharp of a curve and it makes the door look like it is hanging out. Someone posted a fix for this situation and it seemded to be a good idea. I don't remember who posted the idea but there was a picture with it. He slit the cab corner at the lower rear and pulled the curvature out to match the door.
