Need to make more heat.
I have a problem making very little heat, changed stat already it's good. I have both factory and aftermarket a/c systems neither of which are installed would install one of the two help make more heat? If so which one? It currently takes my whole ride to work almost to get warm which is almost 20 minutes. Some one please help.

Re: Need to make more heat.
Have you had your 2 heater hoses off? If you have switched them, you wont get that much heat out of it.
Also, where are your hoses connected to? I dont think the ac would affect the heat at all....

Re: Need to make more heat.
Drive with gloves!!! The core hose should be connected to the front part of the intake. Return line from the core should be routed back to the radiator.

Re: Need to make more heat.
Do you have a lot of force to the air coming out of the air ducts (i.e. is the blower motor working well enough to push hot air into the cab?) Or is there a lot of force to the air and it is just cold air coming out of the ducts (blower motor working, but temperature of coolant is too cold?
No force to the air - blend door not working, blower motor not working or not working well. No heat in the air - mis-routed hoses (one should be 5/8", one should be 3/4"), thermostat (which you have checked and is good), plugged or leaking heater core. |
