Re: lets see the 69s

ok here's my 69-Bought new at Crest Chevrolet in San Bernardino by a local, and 3 years later, my grandfather bought the truck when he lived in Lake Arrowhead, about 20 miles away. It was used to tow a 34 foot trailer to San Diego for the winter. After he passed away in 1989, my dad asked me to put in a new engine and redo all the mechanicals, he had it painted and used it on his ranch in Show Low Arizona. My dad is not a mechanic and about the only thing he knows to turn is the ignition key. In 2007, I was at Pomona looking to replace my 96 dually that I sold and the cell rings and my dad says he's had enough of the old truck and I can come and get it. Now it's my truck and I am adding as many options I can, so far I have put in a stock appearing big block, rebuilt 400,14bolt 3:23 rear end,am/fm,tilt,speed minder, tach, air gauge,a bunch of small items and now working on recovering a buddy bucket seat. I have a 70 factory cruise set up as well just need to clean and install. The truck will never be for sale.

I would love to but it is on my table as we speak. I am re-painting the needles and polishing the lens. I will post a picture as soon as I'm done. Thanks for your interest.
