Re: Quick diesels here?
I race my cummins powered 72 a few times a year. My engine setup, '94 cummins, s300 turbo, bigger injectors, a few injection pump mods. Drive train, nv4500 trans, np205 tcase, dana 60 front, dana 80 rear 3.54 gears, 6'' lift, 35'' tires. Not a race truck but it will get out of its own way. Best time so far 14.2 @ 96 mph. Never had the truck on a dyno but I am guessing around 400 hp.

Re: Quick diesels here?
Sounds like a fun set-up. I've seen some diesel racing on the 'puter and I figured maybe a few from this board have coal burners that they'd race. Some of those rigs are very fast and will dust many built musclecars.

Re: Quick diesels here?
i have a 97 ford 4dr shortbed 4x4, you name it, it has it. it put down 375hp on the dyno with 37s. not bad for a old 7.3 non intercooled that was rated at 215hp at the flywheel.

Re: Quick diesels here?
If I remember correctly, Midevil has a diesel that puts out some impressive numbers. I think I remember him mentioning it a few years ago on a different forum.

Re: Quick diesels here?
Those are some nice numbers for the 7.3. My father has an '00 7.3 with a chip and exhaust and that really woke his up. Care to share your mods?

Re: Quick diesels here?
Friend of mine from Emory has an 02 duramax that runs 10's in the 1/4. He also owns a diesel performance shop. Here is his website and you can see videos.. it's a very nice/fast truck... http://www.dieselhotrods.com/

Re: Quick diesels here?
I just saw this thread, don't know how I missed it. I have many diesel burning rides. My favorite one has to be my corvette!

Re: Quick diesels here?
I put a Duramax in my 69 c10. The truck is a blast to drive on the street. By the push of a button I can switch from 450,550,650 and 708HP.
