new in Phoenix, '78 step side

It's actually my girlfriend's truck. Sure is amazing to have a girl that's as much into this stuff as I am Her truck is a '78 C10 2WD stepside, all stock drivetrain as far as I know, 350/350 combo. Drives like a stock, late 70's 350 anyways, lol. Pics attached, and I swear to god, it's not farm implement yellow, the lighting was just horrible in that one shot :P

I've fixed a couple minor flubs from the ex know-it-all already, and it needs a bunch more little things to bring it up to par, largely due to said ex know-it-all Still a nice truck though, and I'm kinda jealous

This is actually the first older full size I've dealt with, but thankfully due to the length GM went to in terms of sharing parts across different lines, I'm pretty familiar with the whole thing already. We've previously had a '90 3500 big block truck, '74 Stingray, '76 Nova, '78 Cutlass, '87 S10 Blazer, '93 S10 Blazer, '91 Sonoma, '93 Z28 and probably a couple others in the GM family I'm not thinking of immediately.

I've been a car guy all my life, taught from my dad. I've usually gravitated towards the GM stuff for street performance, though I've gone with other brands for other stuff too. My current stable includes a '94 Volvo 850 turbo wagon that will eventually become the daily driver, a '91 Mercury Capri sh*tbox that was supposed to be a temporary dd that's stuck around for a while, a '61 International Harvester Scout 80 as my off road rock crawler, and most recently, an '84 Chevette that's getting the small block treatment - goal will be low 11s in the 1/4

Anyways, saying hi, and happy to be here
