hard wiring factory gauges
is it possible to hard wire the voltmeter and fuel gauge? i'm tired of the printed circuit board never making a good connection to the gauge terminals...

Re: hard wiring factory gauges
My voltage gauge is hardwired in, as I switched from an amperage gauge. One lead to switched 12+, one to ground.

Re: hard wiring factory gauges
I hardwired all my gauges in when I installed a c60 tach/fuel gauge into my 90 Suburban.
See my sig below.

Re: hard wiring factory gauges
I think the fuel gauge is tan, off the top of my head. It really is that simple. Take the metal tabs that connect the gauges to the circuit board, run wires through those holes, and connect the wires with nuts on the back of the gauges.
