Custom cab trim
I put some custom cab trim pieces on my 64 gmc and they tend to sick out a bit at the top. I was told that there is a little clip that attatches to the top rear part to hold it down, if so does anyone have any pics?

Re: Custom cab trim
Are you speaking of the "Custom" trim badges that mount on the pillar?

Re: Custom cab trim
That is what I used to put my side trim on - from front to back.

Re: Custom cab trim
I used two pan head sheet metal screws on each bracket and let the trim slip under the screw heads. Works great, you can adjust the screws in or out to get the fit just right.

Re: Custom cab trim
Could someone do a mechanical drawing of the brackets & location?
It would make a great sticky/how to. David |
