Exhaust exit what to do
I cant really decide what to do on the exhurst
the system will be 3 inch with 2 cherry bomb Vortex mufflers (not glasspacks) what would look best on a crew cab with the big rig theme? Remember its not a gas truck but a Diesel

Re: Exhurst exit what to do
If it's rig themed I think you almost have to go with stacks.

Re: Exhurst exit what to do
With the "sleeper" on there the stacks sure will be far back there.
Might also consider having side exit (like last pic) but exiting in front of rear tires.

Re: Exhaust exit what to do
DEFINITELY the side pipes. I wish I could have done them on my truck. With it being as high as it is though, someone would have gotten hurt. Probably in everyone's best interest to keep them on lowered trucks, IMO. My aunt got burnt badly when she was a kid on my uncle's '76 F-250 with side pipes. My mom's side of the family hates them now

Re: Exhaust exit what to do
Side pipes...I'm not a dually kinda guy, but that pic of the slammed crewcab dually is starting to grow on me. Yea but 41-12 is right only if it's lowered. U got the burn issue, plus someones bound to try to use it as a step

Re: Exhaust exit what to do
Side pipes or side exit just behind the tires, idk how i'd like side exit in front of the tire on a dually.

Re: Exhaust exit what to do
I think those sidepipes look sweet on a long truck like that, Ive never really cared for stacks on a pickup.

Since you are dealing with a smoker, you want to get the exhaust as far back or up as possible. Cleaning the side of the truck all the time gets old and if you are not one for that then you soon wil be after the first time you lean agianst the side of the bed.
