WTB-Parking Brake Parts

i've got a '69 chevy longbed(98" bed) 4x4. It's got a 14 bolt rear end. I need the intermediate cable and cable hangers/runners for the parking brake. If you have these lying around and don't need them let me know what you take for the set. If you don't have the whole set up but have the cable hangers/runners that would be a huge help too. If you have nothing but have some information on what trucks (years/models) would be good donors for these that would also be a huge help.

Thanks in advance....

Ken

if you're using a 73 up 14 bolt rear you'll need to have new cables built, the ones on the 14 bolt are too short. i had mine done in reno nevada at nevada speedometer but i'm sure there are shops closer to you that can build them for you. i sent my old cables to them so they would have the correct ends and a week or so later they were back.

any chance of getting any pictures of your setup? I've only looked at 2wd version of this truck and it seems like the transfer case on my truck is going to get in the way of the intermediate cable crossing over to the passenger side of the frame. I went to the bone yard today and wasn't able to find a 69-72 4x4 but did find a 79 4x4 and took all of that with me but the frame was different and so i'm not at all confident it will work.

Any ideas?

BTW, I was able to get two black visors, and arm rests in EXCELLENT condition...those along with all the parking brake parts...cost me $20. Not a bad day at the bone yard.

Jerry...one of the problems I'm having is the cable from the cab pedal isn't long enough to reach the frame mount. I find that very odd...I bought the truck the way it currently is and I was told the frame was off of a '69 4wd but the cab came from a 2wd...so, i'm assuming the cable is for a 2wd frame and hence the problem.

How did they they know how long to make everything jerry?
