Re: 73 Update from body shop

Is that like at a votech that is doing it for free or something? I have not known of body shops using reusable tire covers while painting a vehicle in..... 20 years or so. Several things in that photo alarm me.

But to your truck, looks pretty nice! Nothing beats getting one all one color, and shiny new to boot! Just think how awesome it's gonna look with the trim and bumpers on it. Better get a good alarm, or a pitbull to live in it!

Re: 73 Update from body shop

Hrm, I was just going by the test spray patterns on the wall (I'd fire someone for that) and the wheel covers (use those for primer at most, not for painting) and a few other things I noticed. Oh well, my bad, sorry.

Again, you have to be walking on clouds seeing it now, it's almost as good as seeing your baby for the first time.

Re: 73 Update from body shop

No worries, I appreciate the input. I dont know anything about spray booths. I agree that test sprays on your booth wall is pretty dumb. I'll post some more pics when its totally done. Im also getting the inside bed lined. Hope it turns out ok. It was in pretty rough shape
