Re: 275 60 15 tires

there are a few guys running that setup around here, but from what I hear, you'll be hard pressed to find the 275/60's as they are hardly produced any longer.

If you do find some, let me know where, im looking for some.

http://www.summitracing.com/search/?...75/60/15&dds=1

More specific. BFG- http://www.summitracing.com/parts/BFG-45185/

M/T S/T- http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MTT-6030/

Cooper Cobra G/T- http://www.summitracing.com/parts/COO-39615/

There's a tire place on the corner of Nettleton, and I wish I still knew the name of the other road. It's just down from the Pizza Hut, if it's still in the same place. I'm pretty sure they can get you some BFG's

I just bought some at the local les schwab tire. Look fine to me. They are called grand prix. Basically a bfg knock off.

Re: 275 60 15 tires

It may not matter, but the 275-60's that are on the 8-inch wheels on my '96 GMC have worn in the center, more than the outer edges. So, we traction sucks. The same size tire on my '69 is mounted on a 10-inch wide wheel. I ran that same tire on 8's before I got the 10's. I can't really say how they would wear on the 10's. It's been 4 years since I drove it.

A guy in a tire shop here, said that 15's are getting hard to come by, at least in his business. I'm going to 16x7's on my GMC. Coker tires has 15's, though.

Just purchased some Fire Stone tires in this size a couple months back. You are right though finding 15's is getting more difficult all the time.

Yeah, that's a hard tire to come by. BFG used to make a 265/50/15, but I can't find it anymore. They do still make a 295/50/15.

Re: 275 60 15 tires

The only 275/50/15 I've been able to find are drag radials. That's the size I run all around on my 84.

Re: 275 60 15 tires

I thought I saved the site in my favorites but it must be in my old computer. Anyway, there was a site where the 275/60/15 BFG's were 99.00 a piece with free shipping. I found it by googling the tire size, maybe you can too.

Re: 275 60 15 tires

They dont make that size, i just found some 265-50-15 on tiresbyweb.com. They are cooper cobra gts. They are $170.00 each. I'm running 295 50's on the rear. I couldnt find a tire the same height as the 295's. 255-60 were to tall and looked silly.
