67-72 cabs
Are all 67-72 cabs with A/C the same? I have a 70 GMC with a factory big block and want to add A/C, what years will interchange correctly. Thanks.

69 and 70 will work with no effort at all, the rest will require some minor changes.

I think this is correct but someone will speak up if it is not. 67-68 have hand operated park brake. 71-72 have cable operated linkage to the carb and 72 has no mount for the rearveiw mirrow, so I think only 69-70 would interchange "correctly" You could save a bunch of money and have better air by just adding a Vintage Air or Old Air set up.

Plus the 71-72 have the different fuel tank system.

Thanks for the info, Vintage air maybe the best route. Greg
