Where to cut for HIGH HUMP

Does anybody have a picture or insight as to how the factory cut out a low hump to install a high hump. I can trace it and cut over 1 inch, but I want to make sure it looks factory.

It will fairly difficult to make it look factory. From the top, it won't matter because the carpet will cover it up. On the underside, from the factory, there were three strips maybe 3/4 of an inch wide that ran down the sides and the back side. These strips have the nuts welded to them and then the strip was spot welded to the bottom of the floor.

A lot of people add the high hump and it is not that difficult, but in your original post you said you wanted to make sure it LOOKED FACTORY. it can probably be done, but it won't be as easy as cutting a hole and bolting in the high hump.

Aha! This is what I was wondering, I knew they didn't have separate nuts and bolts.

Anybody got a pic of one removed?
