new engine is alive
Well, I finally got my header hell staitend out(alittle)...Man does this stroker run...much healthier then the old engine..It takes a little getting used to..the 4000 stall converter is awesome. I see traction is going to be a problem(even with the slicks)..I will take it to the track tonight...No Nitrous yet.....

The 4000 stall is a max effort to get into the 11s with this combo...it probably wont be there after race seasons over(and I have always wanted to drive with a hi-stall) its just as you would think its supposed to be

Hey Big Jim, what size stroker have you got in your truck? I would like to take a look as I live in Redding as well. I can't decide between a 406 and a 383 for my 70 blazer. I can tell you one thing it won't need a 4000 stall...Wow!

Keep us posted on the results of all your new upgrades, I'm kinda curious what she'll run now. You say nitrous is definitely in her future?
