Intermittent lights

My father in laws 06 tahoe has developed an issue. The dash/radio lights just go out, and a bit later on down the road, they come back on. I had a similar issue with my 2000 firebird, and it turned out to be bad solder joints in the bcm. I just wanted to know if that could be the case here, or is there another explanation. I searched a few different terms, but I didnt come up with anything. Thanks in advance.

Re: Intermittent lights

Start with checking the light switch. i've heard of that causing issues when they are going out
