What's needed for a conversion to dual headlights?
Im new to the forums and just recently purchased an 87 r10 2wd short bed. I've done several searches on converting a single to dual headlights and all i can find is people saying just change the radiator support. Im curious if i need the wiring harness or anything else like the lower grille panel or grille brackets on the sides. Im going to be using the 82 style front end too so not sure about the wiring for the turn signals in the bumpers either. Thanks for any help and sorry if this has already been asked but i cant seem to find any good info.

welcome to the site for the swap you'll the radiator support, headlights, bumper, bezels and park lights, for the head light wiring you could get a used one, or get to new connectors for the low beams and wire it in, for the park lights you'll need to lengthen the wires

He needs core support with headlight buckets, bezels and such. The wiring is an easy modification to the existing harness.

Re: What's needed for a conversion to dual headlights?
Not yet need to get some batterys for my camera Ill post some soon. Have a long list of plans for it but it will most likely be a gradual build. Ive had several other project cars in the past but ive never been as anxious as i am about this one. Was never a fan of square bodys but I guess its an acquired taste, now i like them more then pretty much any other vehicle.

Re: What's needed for a conversion to dual headlights?
I have a 83 with single lights and wanted to convert to duals but I think I`ll be sticking with the singles since I`m not tearing my truck aprat to replace the core support. Any way around this?

Re: What's needed for a conversion to dual headlights?
I converted one of mine from single to dual headlights years ago. It's an easy job that you can do in a couple of hours. No reason to sport a grille you don't like because you don't want to do the swap.

Re: What's needed for a conversion to dual headlights?
Well my deal is actually a matter of no time to do it. I`m a OTR truck driver and its my daily driver when I`m home but when i do make it home, once a month, I have so much other crap to deal with that tearing the frontend off the truck isn`t a possability any time soon.
