how did you make your weatherstriping flange?

My floor was rusted bad and i made the patch panels to repair the floor and a peice of lipped shelfing to make that 1/4 inch gap for the weatherstriping. Im just interested in what you guys did?

I run a sheetmetal shop, so was able to duplicate anything I needed when I was doing mine. I would say look into the specialty isle at a home depot as they sometimes have pre bent metal. you could buy new ones or cut good ones off of a junkyard truck and graft them in. If you can sketch on a piece of paper what you want, you can call a local HVAC company that fabs their own ductwork and they can bend up any shape you desire for pretty cheap.
