is anyone reproducing any rubber boots for the seat belt retractors
is there any company out there reproducing any of the rubber covers for the seat belt retractors, or is there one off of some other brand of vehicle that will work ?? any ideas anyone

The tall plastic pieces by the doors? Or are you talking the rubber boots on the floors, or rubber shoulder harness boots? Trevor

I'd be interested to find out if these were a repro item, though i've not seen em anywhere, I've just been keeping an eye on the bay for a pair in good condition.

If they do, more times than not, they would only come in black. I think you were going Red interior aren't ya? The best thing would be to find red ones and use some low heat from a heat gun and bring back the color. Trevor

yes red , and i have never heard of that ...just use the heat gun on low and it will bring the color back ?? thats pretty cool

A few years ago I looked all over the net and including ebay for them but never found them. I don't believe they're being reproduced at this time.
I'm sure with enough demand they would be easy to reproduce. For a serious restoration one has to just keep looking for someone that doesn't need them anymore. Most daily drivers of these trucks are buying the new style aftermarket types for safety reasons. |
