Lets see some pics of oversize knobby tires

I'm getting ready to put new tires on my 71 GMC 4x4. They will be mounted on 15 x 8 steelies. I'd really like to go with 35s but don't know if I'll have the clearance to get in my garage, especially if I have to lift from the current stock height to keep them from rubbing. I'm sure 33s will be fine as far as clearance goes but not sure if they will give the look I want. Can you guys post some pics of yours so I can get a better idea. Any advice you can offer will be appreciated!

You might have better luck in the 4x4 section.

I don't consider my set up to be oversize knobby, but it gives you an idea of a 4 inch lift with 33's. And... it fits in my garage (barely) - click on my avatar to pull it up (for some reason I could not cut paste into the thread).

Approx 6" lift with Toyo MT's - 315/75/16's (35-ish)

Plenty of room for bigger rubber. Also like K10Dream, plan on going to 37's when these wear down.

Doesn't come close to fitting in the garage though.
