Interior Assistance
I am in the middle of changing the color of my interior and need to see some pics of different color options. The truck is going to end up orange so please post pics of any color interior you think would look great in a orange truck. At the moment I am leaning towards a light grey/black two tone. Post em if you got em. Thankx

Re: Interior Assistance
Black would go great with an orange truck. Mine is red with saddle interior, and I love it.
On the 81+ trucks, I prefer black interiors, because the shiny trim looks great against the black. On the 73-80's, however, I prefer the woodgrain trim, so I like brown interior. http://www.classictrucks.com/feature...kup/index.html That link will lead to a very classy interior in black and red. |

Re: Interior Assistance
Sometimes just hearing someones opinion does the mind good. My first plan was to go all black but I kinda feel like its been done to death. And I guess the reason is because its so universal. Has anybody got pics of a all white interior? If so I could print it off and do a lil adjusting with some color pencils. That would give me endless fuel for thought.. Thanks for the replies

Re: Interior Assistance
Here's one from a truck that comes to our local cruise-in that I hope to copy in the near future. My truck is Gypsy Red, looks red in low light and orange in bright light.
This is how mine is for now along with a couple of members trucks I saved for ideas.

Re: Interior Assistance
Where did you get those stainless inserts for the door panel without the pull handles? I have seen them before but dont remember who carrys them. The black and grey looks good. Mine was red also and I hated it.

Re: Interior Assistance
Had some free time yesterday and decided to go ahead and start on my color change(Grey and Black). Done all my trim grey, door inserts black and dyed my carpet black. Still have to do my door panels(grey) and order a new dash pad and get it dyed(black) and installed. Are Classic Industries dash pads worth buying? Will get some pics posted when I get it put back together. Thanks for all the resplies

Re: Interior Assistance
Looking forward to pics of your project and the continuation of this link. Always nice to see what others can do to this component of our trucks.
Regarding Classic Industries dash, here is a more recent link on that topic. The search engine for this forum is another great resource as well for this and everything else related to these trucks. I tend to spend a lot of time with that as well as browsing the current postings. : http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=442458 Hope you enjoy the progress as well as the process with your interior project. Plan to be doing something similar myself when warm weather returns to the midwest. Great topic! Mark
