My 1962 Chevy X frame roller. Keeping the rear suspension set up. The traction bars are rust free and in real good shape. Will put the rear on air bags. Im new to air ride suspension but im told you can get bags and just fill to a certain psi for the lift. Not needing the whole system right away. Im also decideing on the front end swap to the 73-87 style or removing my tortions and building an upper and lower mount for a set of bags using the stock control arms. Input?

Welcome to the forum! Should you decide to swap the 62 front suspension for the later disc brake version, the following threads may help. The first deals with the suspension swap and the 2nd deals with engine and transmission mounts:

Are you ready for this!!! Menards rustoleum 26.00 hawiian sky blue acetone 12.00 mix and spray!!!! 38.00 paint it sprayed nice looks good enought to drive, its not show paint but good enough for the rest of the summer and this winter ill get all the blems dings fixed and find a base coat clear and spray the outside later

i have 1675.00 into this project!!
Cop car 350.00, adapters 120.00 for the wheels
wheels and tire 500
50 gmc box 50.00
cab i allready had from parts truck last project ,

i bought some parts hood fenders header 200
thats the major items

Man that's what I like a great deal LOL! Thanks for the color information looks like a show quality job to me. Mines going to be a driver....Do you have a thread specifing the adaptions made to mount to Crown Vic chassis? Im puting mine on another chassis as well.

Just 20" got em for 300 w/tires, I'll eventually get some nice welds with slicks I want it to do wheelies some day.

Hi everyone,new guy checking in. Wiring,,,, lots of it, i think the p,o must have used the loom from the space shuttle or something similar, or maybe never removed the old wiring loom before installing a new one, but its sorted now, power steering next on the list, should be fun, i,ll try adding a picture as soon as i work out how its done. this place has been great for info and inspiration, thanks everyone.
