How to tell how much drop coil springs have?
I have a pair of front and a pair of rear coil springs but I do not know what drop they are. Is there anywhere that shows with the over all height of the coil what they are? I got both pairs with other parts and would like to verify what they are. The front pair measure approx. 10 1/2 inches and the rear pair are approx. 11 inches. Thanks for any information and help.

Re: How to tell how much drop coil springs have?
I would be careful trying to determine what they are,... if you don't know who manufactured them.
Spring rates and uninstalled heights will vary from brand to brand.

Re: How to tell how much drop coil springs have?
That is why I am trying to find out something about them. I Will not sell them if I can not find out anything. Is there anyway to find out the manufacture? I meant to ask that in the first post and forgot to include it. Thanks Lolife99

Re: How to tell how much drop coil springs have?
Different spring manufactures have different spring rates for the same size drop. So a spring could have the same installed drop as a different spring but different height, coil size.

Re: How to tell how much drop coil springs have?
Thanks for the information. I just thought there might be something that would show what brand they could be and drop amount. Thanks for your time and information. Todd
