Cigarete Lighter Location

Where was the cigarette lighter originally located on a 66 GMC Suburban? I want to add one so that I can use my ipod charger and cell charger.

THANKS!

Re: Cigarete Lighter Location

It should be in the dash next to the ignition, but the stock lighter is too small for a standard 12v outlet for iPod/phone/whatever unless mine is just funky.

I installed an aftermarket outlet for my phone charger 12v supply.

Re: Cigarete Lighter Location

I just double checked mine and the charger does fit. It doesn't work, though.
