t5 swap

i know many have put a t5 in 67-72 c10's, so, will it go with a colum shift/low hump trans floor? does it need the big hump from a floor shift or can it be
"massaged" to fit? new to this gen truck. have a '67 waiting for me when i get home in a week. have a '59 and had a '93 so im familier withthose. also, to lower the front easy is cutting a spring. will any 'car' spring do the job? a monza is about the same size, just lower installed height. i will be here often to get my '67 up to snuff. thanks all
