Re: Burbs @ CPP Cruise
I dunno, I think I would feel really out of place there.
Though if I can get my t-case oil leak fixed, I'd probably be game to just go for a cruise. Since the guy that graciously offered to help me in the T-case issue, is planning on going from what he told me.

Re: Burbs @ CPP Cruise
As of today there are 4 Burbs registered. Remember this is not a show, so if it runs bring it. This is about hanging out, meeting people, having a good time, CPP customer appreciation.

Re: Burbs @ CPP Cruise
I will see what I can do.
It's a matter of getting my tcase issue fixed before I can do a trip like that, since it leaks so much I'd probably run out of oil by the time I got there. Plus all that oil would coat the entire underside of my burb making a huge mess

Re: Burbs @ CPP Cruise
I'm just not sure about the spongy shifts in my used 700r4.....Anaheim area is a long way from Havasu in a truck that hasnt left town yet.... Having said that....
It would be VERY cool to participate in a show where I havent seen every other vehicle at least 10 times before! I bought all the lowering stuff from CPP for my burb. |

Re: Burbs @ CPP Cruise
I get back to Pendleton next thursday and I'd have to steal the tires off of the parts truck or find two more 35s for her, but I could possibly make it in the 'burb.

Re: Burbs @ CPP Cruise
i'd love to go....i have/will have CPP sway bars, poly track bar and body mount bushings, and billet tie-rod sleeves on my otherwise stock 72 burb c20. but travel costs plus 12mpg would bankrupt me trying to get to a gathering 3,000 miles away. maybe in a few years when i get that saginaw-borg warner installed and some car projects and other stuff paid off. i even have the family's old 71 holiday trav'ler to complete the package and make a camping trip out. sorry Vectorit has to be the odd man out!
the gas here is at $3.40 a gallon and climbing. looks like my baby is gonna spend a lot of time sittin' pretty in the driveway this summer...argh. at least i have my 72 honda cb350 so i can still drive vintage and beat these insane gas prices! |
