Are these pics after you fixed it?
If so,... something is still wrong.

Re: Rear wheels not in center of wheel well any thoughts?
Well I found a power steering input shaft rebuild kit and that will be next week. Had some friends over today and went to the beach that is where I took the pic's so I wasnt able to work on the truck today. The PO was clever at hiding things on my truck, I found that he DID make the long bed a short one that is why the wheel was so far off center! Very good welding job. had to look real close to notice the welding.
Next project is Looking to put in a 700r? trans you know the one with overdrive, only getting 15 mpg on the hwy. The state of Hawaii is inposing a one dollar more a gallon tax to help the state get out of debt??? So I have to get more mpg's !!! PARADISE MY A$& That will put gas at $4.85 a gallon!!! Sorry no work pic's but a generic fix, the locking nut was troublesome to remove but with a punch and a BFH, it came off with no problems. Now I have brakes again and no pulling to the left!!! No more Leaking! The input is an easy fix but the pitman shaft end the whole unit has to come apart. Not so easy! Aloha <Marty> |
