Re: SpinTech Muffler Install

I have spintech oval 3.5'' on my car. Love the sound. Sounded like a boat motor with flowmasters before. What size are they? 2.5? Nice vedio!

yep, 2.5" was the choice

Here is a video my son requested we shoot on our way back from the muffler shop.

it was a simple request fulfillment, WAY to many police around to get full into it.

This video I asked him to jump out on the side of the road and shoot
Pay no attention to the squealing belt!

He still has a few things to learn about shooting, but these where his first videos!

Put it this way, you have to try and hear it... the "H" pipe truly worked.
Also, another thing that added to the elimination of drone is making sure NONE of the exhaust pipe is touching the frame anywhere.

IT worked out perfectly, I couldn't be more happy
Mufflers = $200.00
Exhaust work = $200.00

Cool, that might be a set to go with on my next trip into exhaust I ran a set of 40's flow's, with H pipe, & a full (under the back bumper) 2 1/2" system. The 40's gave me a headache running down the hyway @ cruise speed from the drone. Switched to a set of 50's, & moved em back a bit & that made it more mellow cruising (no drone), but they are just about a beligerent as the 40's when the throttle snapped open crazyL

Re: SpinTech Muffler Install

sounds great. I'm glad you mentioned the flip cam. My dad got one for Christmas and I've been contemplating getting one to replace the old one that actually has a tape in it

Sound quality seems pretty good on it (one of the things I was worried about). Which one do you have?

BTW, where did you get your spintechs from?

Bought the mufflers directly from them http://www.spintechmufflers.com/

this is the flip cam we have. this thing records better video and audio than my mini dv camera.
If you don't need a lot of zoom, then these cams are great
