Tweed door panels...
Note, earlier model armrests. We buy all of our aftermarket parts from Kenny. Disassembled them and covered the tops in tweed. They bolt right in place of the later ones. |

Earlier. You can see the door panel was done in this pic. It was the stock metal one which we painted two-tone base clear. In the other pic, you can make out the old orange and white seat cover, kinda. That's the best pic I have.
I redid it in tweed, because vinyl is too hot for Texas 100 degree heat. |

All right, last one, the door panel. I'll quit wasting bandwidth now.
Kind of hard to see exactly what was going on with the door panel. I didn't have a digital camera then, so scanning of photos is all I can do. Thank you everyone, for the compliments. |

Grant steering wheel from swap meet $20.....one of my better swap meet scores.
Billet Grant adapter from Auto Zone $35. Duno about the exact diameter, but between 13 and 14 inches. Yes, like it very much, though, with tilt wheel down and small wheel, it obscures the guages some. |

That's how my truck is going to be sitting after I order the disc brake setup next week! Too bad that it won't turn from brown with metallic flake to that sweet a$$ orange in the process! Quick question, what size tires are you running all around?

------------- Front- ECE 2.5 inch drop spindles and Summit brand 2 inch lowered springs. The Summit brand lowered springs are very inexpensive, and when you get them they come in a Ground Force box. Summit brand 73-87 lowered shocks (they are actually reboxed Doetsch Tech brand) 15x7 wheels with 235/60/15 BFGs Rear- ECE 4 inch drop coils, ECE adjustable panhard rod, and another set of Summit brand short 73-87 front shocks (hey man 26 dollars and they fit perfectly) 15x8 inch wheels with 275/60/15 BFGs -------------- that should answer your question. lata CHRIS

I kinda like that steering wheel. I dunno if I want to go with a smaller than stock diameter one of a close to stock one. Definetly looks nice tho. thanks CHRIS
