Know what sucks? People who have no appreciation for the stuff that I value. What is hard to come by for me, is easily trashed by others who just don't care. How they end up with such a vehicle, just so they can ultimately trash it, is something I haven't learned how to accept. You'd think, after 63 birthdays, at least 61 of them with me being a bonafide car nut, I'd be able to understand.

Re: junkyard didnt have my part, but...

the plate is the design the state had in the early 90's i believe, so more than likely the car was just sitting somewhere for the past 15 years. i really hope someone comes across this post and decides to saves that car and at the same time gets a heck of a deal.

Interestingly enough, though, a GNX was actually saved from being crushed by the maven of car-hating herself, nancy pelosi. Talk about hipocrisy, though I'm glad it was saved.

Between the broken housing on the steering column and the jimmied trunk lock, I'd say theft recovery.

I agree. It's hard to see a car like this in the condition it's in. I know everyone doesn't have the same mentality as we do towards cars, but this isn't just some run of the mill beater car. Hopefully it finds it's way to a better home, and continues to run the roads!

Re: junkyard didnt have my part, but...

I was in at $1500. $2500 is a little rich. My WH1 car is a lot nicer than that one, and it is going to be parts soon.

No freaking way he will get $2500. $2k maybe. Although there is an a$$ for every seat. Always thought those, and the TTAs were awesome cars.
