what lowing kit/combo works the best?
I have a 1974 2wd blazer that I would like to lower..3'' in the front 4" in the back.. just would like to hear any good recommendations or advice on what kit/product worked best for you. Oh yeah! And I'm on a budget..lol..thanks fellas!!

2wd blazers take the same parts as the trucks.
I would use drop spindles up front with a cut or drop spring. I've lowered a couple 73-82 2wd blazers. The first one I removed a couple rear leaf springs and added a shackle. (The drop shackle creates issues with the fuel fill hose) The second blazer, I used a set of 4" drop leaf springs. This worked out much better. The flip kit is the cheap way to do the rear suspension,... but unlike the trucks,... you MUST use a c-notch. (seems like the frames are closer to the rearend on the 2wd blazers,... than they are on the trucks) If you do install a flip kit and a c-notch,... then the "center section" of the rearend is really close to the floor. Here's a pic of my old '82 2wd blazer with drop leaf springs, drop shocks, drop spindles and cut front springs.
